Manaakitanga

Caring for others with generosity, respect and aroha, so everyone feels welcome, valued and connected.

Manaakitanga can be found in the small things we do for one another. Noticing when someone needs a hand. Making space for someone. Sharing what we have. Offering our time, care and attention without needing to be asked.

This artwork celebrates manaakitanga through the beauty of Aotearoa, surrounded by native manu, whenua and ngahere.

It reminds us that manaakitanga does not need to be grand. It lives in the everyday ways we care for people and help them feel seen, supported and included.
